The Suvorov Award Ceremony: The Final of the Swiss-Russian startup competition 2016
The 6th ceremony of the Suvorov Awards, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Russian Federation, will take place in Moscow on the 5th of December 2016.
Among finalists there are 3 innovative projects in the fields of agriculture and MedTech. The winner will be announced during the ceremony!
The Suvorov Awards startup competition is organized by the Swiss-Russian Forum and the winner will be chosen among the best innovative projects, committed to contribute significantly to the economies of Switzerland and Russia.
The criteria of the competition are: ready-to-market stage, innovativeness, social impact, competitiveness and business prospective.
The international jury considered over 17 applications received from outstanding startups from Switzerland and Russia – it made the choice tough.
Among the participants of the ceremony there will be prominent members of scientific and business communities, opinion leaders, political and social figures, who have made a significant impact on the innovation, economic and international collaboration between countries.
Among them there will be: Academician Sergey Glaziev, Advisor to the Russian President; Ivan Bortnik, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE); Michael Lifshith, Director of the High-Tech Assets Development of the Renova Group and Board Member of the Swiss Russian Forum Foundation.
The upcoming Suvorov Awards ceremony is supported by Swiss Embassy in Moscow, the Canton of Zurich and Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE). This year one of the partners of the event is the global startups and investors direction InnMind.
